So... I made this little pony base, but now I am kinda stuck. How do you color over greyscales in GIMP?

I got photoshop, but I think it's quite the same. You should put the greyscale layer on "Overlay" modus instead of normal and paint the colour you want to use in a different layer underneath that one.

Meagan- I believe I tried that, but the colors looked funky, and the white looked dark grey. I can try again.

I duplicate the greyscale, set it to around 50% opacity, and literally just colour over the greyscale. :P Not sure if that's the same thing as what Megansparrow said.

I just create a new layer and colour under the grayscale, then set the grayscale to overlay and reduce the opacity a bit :)
