Earning Your Wings [SU] -closed-

In the vast land of Oria, there is a secluded town called Swyn. A quaint little site, Swyn is filled with cottages, markets, and taverns. But why is there a large arena, and a small building with the intials DRTF? Unlike the rest of Oria, Swyn has a little secret: when chosen juveniles in Swyn turn 13, they are trained to be a dragon rider! Dragon rider s are vital to the town; they protect the area from predators, such as mountain lions, and destructive forces, like forest fires. There are 5 types of dragons: black, red, silver, blue, and purple. 10 teens are chosen; five girls, five boys. Each girl gets a different dragon, and each boy gets a different dragon. The two with the same kind are paired to train together. Sign up to join to be a dragon-rider!

Rules:
Don't be a jerk to others.
Nothing inappropriate, like swearing or romance going too far.
You can only sign up one character.
I will throw in difficulties or odd situations when things get dry. :)

Likes: She enjoys silence, and hanging out with her friends even if it seems like she doesn't. She loves to listen to music, and strangely, she likes to listen to lectures and actually learn. SECRETLY, she enjoys hugs.
Dislikes: She's not an overall fan of constant flirting, but she does enjoy turning it into an insult fest. She hates being outside unless she is actually out there to enjoy doing something. She also hates cats.
Looks: Mel is a short girl, standing at 5'2, and her skin is a soft cream color. Her almond eyes are a bright green, a big contrast to her dark hair that reaches down right above the waist. Her slightly up turned nose is sprinkled with faint freckles, giving her the impression that her personality is nicer than she really is.

Accepted, but I think 5'7 and above is a little too tall for 13-year-old girls. I'm going to make the limit 5'6 for girls (just to make it more realistic).
