Stats and Conformation Inheritance

Okay a couple questions about breeding.

Stats are inherited, but how?

I was told (mare+stallion)/2/2

Is this correct?

How is conformation decided for the foal?

on the old EV it was (mare stat + stallion stats) divided by 4.

that's no longer the case on the recode, but is still generally a good guideline to go by. the formula is more complicated now and we don't know what it is.

I'm not sure about conformation, but your best bet to increase confirmation is to not breed two horses that have "poors" or "awfuls" in the same area. beyond that - again, there's a formula to determine it that players haven't been told :)

It's unknown, aside from Abbey, what the specific calculation for stats is. It involves stats, health, and various other factors. All we know is that it's seriously complicated.

I learned that adding the stats together and dividing it by 3.5 gets it pretty close! c:

I am finding that waiting longer between foals "may" increase conformation. Just something I noticed when trying to improve a mare at 72 conf.
