I'm looking for ideas of things I can do to a basic account layout, given than only BBCode can be used. I'm both looking for ideas of things to do to my own layout, and wanting to compile a resource of ideas to help other people create their own layouts.

I'm pretty code-savvy, too. That's no issue. :) It's just ideas of things to do that I'm stuck with. BBCode is mostly just limited to text editing, inserting images and links, so I can't do any of the wonderful complex things I usually do in my html layouts.

I think those ones might be non-standard BBCode, which means they'll only be present if the forum/site owner has coded them in, a bit like the horse or member BBCode that Abbey has implemented. The standard or default BBCode is limited to text editing, inserting images, and inserting links, so I only really have that to play with for a basic account. I'll have a play around with things and get an exact list of what code exists on here.

Each of the alignment tags will create a separate paragraph, one above the other, so that will format like this: Some text here....

Yes but align with formed images that would somewhat fit around it - the only issue you would have is there will be breaks in the images :( it's tough being limited
