The morning sun had not even came up yet as the quiet peaceful sound filtered through the house. Before long the repetitive sound of the alarm clock beeping next to the bed signaled the beach trip was today. Opening her hazel eyes Nicole sat up in bed and shoved the covers to Chase's side and smiled rubbing her stomach "No morning sickness and what a good morning!" she said happily and looked at the sleeping Chase next to her. "Wake up silly time to get ready!" she said making her voice high and pitched as she kissed his cheek and got out of bed. Running to the bathroom to get ready for the early morning. Genesis barked looking at Dixie and then barked running into the bedroom the sound of the clicking of her toenails as she ran and sprang onto the bed licking Chase's head in big wet slobbery kisses. Lynch slept down stairs in his bedroom asleep and snoring not caring as long as he didn't have to wake up till later.

Talia blinked open her blue eyes as the alarm clock dinged 5:00 am on the bedside table on her side. Giving a smile she looked at Zander still sleeping and tickled his side as she smiled. Getting out of bed she let the dogs out of the crate "Go wake him up" she motioned and pointed to the bed. Hawk gave a loud bark and lept onto the bed the chocolate lab wagged his tail back and fourth in the air as he licked his face. Talia giggled as she made her way to the bathroom to get ready for the morning.

Chase grumbled in his sleep, then burrowed deeper into the blankets. He managed to catch a few more snatches of sleep before the dogs came. He covered his head just in time as Genesis started to lick him, and moved farther in as Dixie started to paw at him. Finally, he sat up in bed. "All right, all right. I'm up." he relented.

Zander turned as Talia woke up. "Morning." he whispered. He then went and showered before waking Adrian up. His son's mother had granted him custody, when she had decided that she'd rather pursue business endeavors as well as her new love life than mother their child. It'd been a rough couple of months, with him learning to be a regular father, on top of his marriage and young dogs.

Nicole finally finished in the bathroom a loose fitting tee shirt because of the baby bump and jeans with shoes her hair put into a bun. Smiling at Chase she hurried past him grabbing her suitcase for the trip that was packed two days ago and whistled for Dixie and Genesis to follow her. Once in the kitchen she opened the fridge pulling out two breakfast hot pockets and out them in the microwave and then fed the dogs. Putting a hand on her stomach she smiled "Just stay in until we have finished the vacation" she mumbled to her belly. Genesis finished her food and was barking and prancing back and fourth in the kitchen sensing the excitement coming from her human. Nicole smiled at Genesis's movements and looked to the room the bedroom and the stairs and groaned. "Come on guys seriously Im carrying a baby in me and can move faster than you two!" she said with a loud groan and waiting for the boys to come with there stuff.

Talia was now in the kitchen checking of the list: Feed dogs, Pack the car, Meet at airport for Nicole and Chase and Lynch. Running a hand through her straight black hair in stress for getting ready. She opened the microwave pulling out a breakfast hot pocket and placing it on the table. "Adrian come on!" she called to her adopted son. Checking the list off one by one she sat down and began to eat her breakfast. Hawk let out a loud bark running down the stares and landed in the kitchen letting out exciting barks and twirls as he pranced in the kitchen. Talia rubbed her temples in stress to relive the headache coming on. "Come on dont you guys want to go to the beach?" Checking her watch her eyes widened as it read 5:30 "We need to meet Nicole and Chase at the airport since the plane leaves at 6:30 so lets go!" she shouted and hurried out the door to adjust the seat for the dogs in the back.

Chase groaned as he finished packing his stuff. He hated mornings. He also wasn't sure if this vacation was such a good idea considering the baby was so close to being due. He quickly stuffed the last few items in, then grabbed a quick bite to eat before heading out to load the car.

Zander went through the usual morning routine of helping his toddler son get ready for the day. He observed the boy closely, Adrian was cooperative though quiet, which was the new normal since his mom had left. He hoped that the trip and change of pace would help to brighten him up. "Go see what Talia has." he said encouragingly as he sent him on his way. As he left the room, he grabbed his son's suitcase and travel bag for the plane . He then took the pups out with him to pack the car.

Nicole smiled as she whistled for Genesis and Dixie to come to snap there leash on them and put them into the car. Genesis gave a loud and friendly bark as she sat down in front of Nicole and waited. After, snapping both dogs leashes on she walked to the door about to open it before she heard her younger brother Lynch run in carrying his suit case. Lynch frowned and grabbed the dogs leashes "Nicole your 7 months and you could fall and hurt yourself with them pulling" he said in a gruff voice and took the dogs to the car loading them in it. Nicole watched as Lynch took the dogs to the car and she mumbled to herself "Just because I'm pregnant doesn't mean I'm useless!" she half whined aloud. Grabbing her phone and the car keys she headed to the car going to the passenger side and getting in waiting for Chase to drive them to the airport.

Talia smiled as she saw Adrian come towards her, walking halfway she picked the toddler up and carried him placing him in the highchair. Feeding him little bites of food until he finished cleaned him off and grabbed her phone and keys taking Adrian to the car with her. Buckling him in his car seat she got into the passenger side and waited for Zander to come and drive to the airport so they could meet Nicole and her family and get seats close to them. Hawk barked softly and licked Adrian's face gently then flopped down chewing on his chew toy. Talia smiled relaxing in her seat some "To the beach we come!" she said excitedly and looked back to Adrian smiling.

Chase finished packing the back of the car. "Morning, Lynch." he greeted Nicole's brother as he came out. He then headed back in briefly, before sliding into the driver's seat. "Ready, babe?" he asked Nicole.

Zander brought the dogs to the car and let them in. He was glad to see Talia bring Adrian. It warmed his heart to see how much Talia loved Adrian, and that his son starting to warm up to her as well. He placed the remaining luggage in, then started the car.

Nicole nodded and looked to the back seeing Lynch with the dogs and smiled seeing him with the dogs petting them. "Beach here we come!" she said excitedly as she leaned back in the seat waiting for them to get to the airport. Genesis barked loudly in the car wagging her tail thumping it on Dixie hitting her with her tail.

Talia smiled looking at Zander "Lets go to the airport and meet Nicole and her family" she said leaning back in the seat and waiting till they reached the airport. Hawk the chocolate lab puppy howled in the back and then looked out the window thumping his tail on his brother.
