Does the foal get their stats from their parents from the day the mare was bred or the day the foal is born? That would be 5 more days of stats adding up for both parents....

I'd like to know the answer to this as well...

Not sure if I should be treating preg mares during the five days. Normally I don't treat horses after they retire...but I will if it affects the foal.

I had asked Abbey the same question a few days ago.
Any stat increase the dam gains during gestation does not add to the foal's inherited stats.

The foal's stats at birth are influenced by parents' stats at time of breeding, among other factors, a few being the generation of the foal and care of the dam, etc.
