Title says it all really, I want another horse with homozygous flaxen to breed with, but I don't know which to use or if either would actually work?

I've never used a marking applicator, but I have used coat applicators and I've not spotted flaxen on the list :(

I think marking applicators only affect white patterning, but don't quote me on that.

marking applicators dont affect the horse's coat colour at all...just the pattern..and the coat colour applicators dont give you a choice of adding flaxen..they pretty much just allow you to change the basic base coat colour...not the extendend genes like ff or ZZ..if your breed has an allowable base coat colour with champange or dun...you can change the base colour to one of those..
