A blast from the past

Out of boredom I decided to wade through pages upon pages of my old tinypic account to find the very first tag background I'd ever done. After no small amount if time searching I found it:

I also found this gem a little deeper into it (the faint of heart may want to avert their eyes lol)

A tag timeline from when I first started digital art in 2008 to about a year later. I thought I was so cool indeed ._. I guess I can say I've definitely improved! There are many other horrors to be found in the depth of my tinypic but I'll save you from anymore eye searing for now! lol

Anyone else have some embarrassing old art stuff to dredge up? I wanna see it!

That first one's PSD is long gone. I did it back in like 2010 many computers ago. I've been considering doing a redraw project this summer so I'll add that to my list of maybes! Actually the redraw project could be a cool community/group/club thing! I wonder if anyone would be interested in that...?

River - Omg I laughed to tears at that second one. I love it!! The longer I watch it the funnier it gets (in the nicest way possible) The cartoony one is legit pretty cute though! It's cool to see how much you've progressed!

I miss premades! I'm totally gonna bring them back :o

I know, it's very good for a laugh. XD The longer I look at it the funnier it gets, cause the clouds stop looking like they're passing each other horizontally and start to look like they're swirling in a circle, which I cannot unsee once I've seen it.

I like the idea of the redraw project, that'd be cool. :o It'd be a cool way to bring back some of those old designs we liked the concept behind, but which didn't turn out quite as desired. I would definitely participate.

oh lawd, your old nightmares are dreams I one day hope to achieve. my old horrors...are true terrors that ought not to see the light of day.
