Welcome to The Mandalorian Horse Riders Association Newsletter for March 2025 for all your news in TMHRA for the month.

Old business is settled at the end of every month, so club members can see what is happening within the club every month.

-Club profile revamp set to start in April.

-Club Obituary form for all former horses registered with the TMHRA

-April Mascot Contest in the form of polls

-April Broodmare Contest

-April Broodsire Contest

-Newsletter form

-Newsletter revamp starting in April

-Incentive Programs

-Test Admin

The club profile revamp is finished. The iconic Mandalorian font is still used, but the center of the outlined words has a galaxy core that fits best for the club and its revamp. It took a few hours early in the morning to complete the new look.

Instead of listing all the horses that march away in every monthly newsletter, an Obituary club form will be created, and horses who have marched away that are registered with the club will be added. Mand'alor the Rider will head the project, and the breeder's names will be listed for each horse as well.

The April Mascot Contest is going on now as a poll, the winner will receive a custom font to be placed in their public profile as well as 5k in Equiverse Dollars. These horses cannot be entered into any other contest for April.

It is that time for the Broodmare Contest, This will take place on the contest page of the club's contest. The Winner of the month will get a custom font to display in their public profile as well as 25k and a shot for the grand prize of 500k in Equiverse Dollars and 5 Equiverse Credits. Once a mare wins for the month, they cannot be sold or retired, they will have to be locked for a shot at the 500k and 5evc in December to become a broodmare of 2025.

The same rules apply from the Broodmare contest, with the same payouts. With a few additional restrictions, the Stud cannot be sold, retired, or gelded, they have to be locked to have a shot at the grand prize of 500k and 5EVC.

Missed a newsletter? Don't worry about it, there will be a newsletter form board that will allow you to get caught up on all the latest Newsletters as well as past newsletters. There will even be a discussion forum as well, so you don't miss a beat of what is going on within the club!

If you look at past issues, you will see a HUGE difference in layout and design. This is how the newsletters will continue in the future.

Incentive programs help with club participation as well as rewarding breeders for all of their hard work! From Ribbons to Confo to low NSS, these programs are coming soon!

There is a test administrator among us. Oscar Kat's rescue is a test admin; they will help with relieving some of the workload that I have. They are currently working on getting a list of current broodmares and studs together.

Running low on funds? Not making enough in shows? Try Private trail rides for the max 10 hours. This will get you max EVD as well as some treats to give your horses. It will help you build a flow of EVD if you want to hold off on shows.

-Trial Admin on hold and the rules to be a Trial Admin

-Club Discord

-Current Monthly Featured Stud Poll

-Broodmare and Broodsire Contest

April's Broodsire of the Month Winner

-Monthly Goal for May

-Donations and Why They Are Important

-Pro Tip of the Month

-Closing

On April 25th, 2025, I was testing a banner for a friend's club when I made a mistake. After trying to reset the club manually and removing the link to the banner, it took me a second to figure it out, but the old club was disbanded and restarted on April 29th, 2025. Now, I will not make the same mistake again. Out of the 1.2 million EVD saved, only 200k remained after everything was unlocked. Thousands of registered horses were lost. I just didn't realize how many inactive players we had in the club until now. So with that being said it is the reason some new rules for the club are in place.

As stated above, two new rules have been added to the club's Rules and Guidelines.

  • Proper treat assignment for your horses.

In short, the usage of Hay Cubes, Sugar Cubes, Peppermints, and other treats that randomly select all stats for a random stat boost has been prohibited. As a former cubber, I can say it wastes EVD and EVC trying to correct the NSS of horses that are bred for a discipline. There are 2 key things to remember when playing this game if you run horses in shows. Confo and Low NSS are the key to success, and many players won't waste EVD on horses with extremely High NSS.

  • Inactive members will be removed after 6 months of inactivity

Out of the 19 members of the club, 9 out of 19 were active. The rest were inactive for 6 months since the club's original founding in 2023. If you believe you are going to be away for 6 months or longer, please feel free to PM me on Equiverse and give me a heads up. That way, I can make a note of it.

That's right once a month, a poll will be held for the Club's Monthly Featured stud, but how does one qualify for such a nod? The Stallion will have to be registered and be up for public or private stud, of course. This means the Monthly featured stud has to appear in the club's stud book. The Featured Stud for a Month will receive a Custom Banner image for their public profile. Sadly, right now, due to low funds, no EVD prizes are being handed out at this time.

Due to the club being restarted, the Trial Adminship is on hold. I will select 1 member for every 10 members to see if they would be interested in an Adminship. The current on-hold Trial Admin is Oscar Kat's Rescue. Once we reach 10 Members, their trial Adminship will continue until we hit 20 members, and a new Admin will be selected. I will be creating rules and guidelines for the Trial Adminship over the next few days, which will be a Google Doc. Trial Admins will also gain the Trial Admin role on the club's official Discord, currently in the works. The Club's discord will hopefully be operational at the earliest by mid-May, at the latest by early June.

The Mandalorian Horse Riders Association will soon be getting its own Discord Server. What does this mean? Club meetings where members can see what the Admins and the owner are discussing at length in terms of making the club better. The Club Discord will even offer a Discord Auction Channel for members to sell their horses to other members in the club, though the Discord Auction may also be open to the public as well. Meaning they will not have access to Club channels, only the Auction Channels in the server.

The Monthly Featured Stud for May poll is live! You have until May 31st to cast your vote on the next Featured Stud for the Club! All horses are currently Quarter Horses. June's Feature Stud will have a mix of breeds, hopefully. Studs must be between the ages of 3 and 20 years to be the monthly featured stud.

The May 2025 Broodmare and Broodsire Contest is accepting applicants until May 20th, voting will end on May 31st, and winners will be announced in the May issue that will be published in June.

The Winner of April's Broodmare Contest is Gunnin' Irish Lass|Mare|QH|Mand'alor The Rider|Western|I5|93.66|6330|137|TBA who is currently locked and will be posted for brood again sometime in the future she is a Grand Champion mare out of Gunnin for Luck and Saint Kal who are both Western Grand Champions.

The Winner of April's Broodsire Contest is Wet Paint|Stallion|TB|Claiborne Howard Meadows|Dressage|L3|59.75|603|TBA this Dressage TB is a beauty and is still competing. He will be locked down at age 18.

There are Several Goals that we are focusing on for May.

  • 10 Members

  • 400k/1m, we are currently at 277k/1m

  • 50EVC

Donations are what are needed to keep the club going, as well as reaching our monthly goals in terms of EVD and EVC. It allows bigger payouts for Broodmare and Broodsire as well as monthly featured stud polls. So, donate any unwanted items that can be sold to add to the club as well as EVD or EVC; every bit helps. Once per month, the item vault will be cleaned out, and the items within will be sold to the General store or put up in the marketplace as trade. That EVD or EVC will be added to the Club bank.

Remember, the key to winning shows is a combination of Confo and Low NSS. The Lower the NSS and the Higher the Confo, the more likely it is for you to win shows. Be sure to feed your horses the proper treats for their preferred discipline. It gets expensive when you have to convert horses from one discipline to the other if you are using the cubbing method.

Treating by Specialty: *Copy and paste this to your journal or on your public profile*

  • Dressage = Intelligence & Agility (Green Apples & Yellow Apples)

  • Driving = Strength & Endurance (Red Apples & Turnips)

  • Endurance = Endurance & Intelligence (Turnips & Green Apples)

  • Racing = Speed & Endurance (Carrots & Turnips)

  • Show Jumping = Speed & Agility (Carrots & Yellow Apples)

  • Western = Speed & Intelligence (Carrots & Green Apples)
