RIP Valentine

Around 8 years ago I was given a lovely gelding named Valentine. He has been a great friend ever since. Last night I got a call from the farm that he was down. I went out and waited for the vet. The vet took 30 minutes to get there and not long after she told me she was certain his stomach had either ruptured or was going to soon. Nothing could really be done. We had to euthanize. It all seems so surreal to me still. Shock and grief at the same time. My heart is a little broken right now. 
 RIP my sweet friend
