Project Horses a progress report

Project Horses are a fun little side thing players can do, a main thing of the Stables of Keldable is Experimental Project lines, though some do better than others, it's all about improving your breeding tactics. I breed strictly Quarter Horses on this account and on the two side accounts I breed strictly Paints and Thoroughbreds. I was bored of breeding normally when I decided to experiment with High-Stat Quarter Horses set for Western discipline. The first Stud Colt was Kal Skriata; now Kal was a decent Western Colt he truly was but I wanted to see what he was capable of outside of Western, setting his discipline for Racing.

Kal did not disappoint he was winning races and setting himself up as a prominent powerhouse for the Stables of Keldable brand. By the end of his career out of his 420 starts, he placed first in 330 shows and lost 70 shows. His first set of 10 foals 'Kal'ika' or Little Knives translated from Mando'a the language of the Mandalorians in the Star Wars Universe, proved as capable of wins in dressage, driving, endurance, show jumping, and racing. Stat Colt5***++ owned by GUSADOGASI as well as 2 other stat colts performed exceptionally well in driving and racing. His early daughters Aay'han SkriataA'den SkriataAkaan SkriataAm SkriataAkaata SkriataAalar Skriata. Preformed well in their disciplines including Western. Each mare has had 7 to 10 foals each, each mare producing champions as well. Kal's later batches of foals, perform nowhere near as well as his first crop of 10 foals mostly due to over-swamping of test shows pitting later batches against each other.

The second high-stat foal I bought was a pretty boy named Korikie Kyrze, ya heard me named after Satine and Obi-Wan's secret love child (I dare someone to prove me otherwise) he was set for Dressage and did very well himself. Unlike the Little Knives line which has a total of 47 foals, the Duke line only has 17 which is due to the selective breeding of dressage-based horses (mostly). The Duke line's first 10 foals out of those first 10 foals I own 3 of those foals all mares that excel in Dressage. Korkie's line does hold claim to endurance and racing as well, but the dressage variant is more dominant.

There are several potential colts that I have bred that will make very good Endurance stud prospects out of several bought stallions, as well as one bought stud colt that shows promise in show jumping. Once a stallion ages to 20 years, I breed for a colt to carry on the desired line, the rest are trained and sold as Western colts to other players.
