My eagerly awaited first Dutch Warmblood foals have arrived! This is a project I've been working on for ages. In my favor, almost ALL my foals were born carrying the Tobiano gene. Unfortunately, only two of them carried the roan gene. I'm not sure if I'll do some markings applicator/whatever I need to add roan or just let my roan project fizzle out.

Conformation scores are to be expected. I paid more attention to color pairings then conformation, but I think overall it's still a good group for foals out of store horses.

I somehow even got blessed with an even number of mares and stallions! We'll see if that same luck continues with the next breeding!

But the best prize of them all...

How nice! Hoping my Store Appaloosa's turn out good.
I've missed a few days for treating and stats but they're doing great in shows regardless :D

Makes me want to start Dutchies now lol
Just no money XD

Ah my favourite kind of Dutchie - Bay Roan Tobiano :D

I'm glad you have an equal split of colt/fillies - I'm having a torrid time of all fillies with this round of breedings!

Kahzie/Khatir - Thank you! I'm saddened by the fact that I just saw she's a grey as well. But oh well! I'm just thrilled I got all my colors on one horse as well as decent conformation. xD

And knowing me, my next round will be all colts or fillies. However, I hoard Loki's Daggers for breeding time xD

Destinar, we could always use more Dutchie breeders ;)
