Gabe sighed " what do we do... can i lift you?" he said as he strained to look at her. He rubbed his sore thigh as he looked up at the horses.

Brook

"No you don't need to stand. " She said in a firm voice to him. She looked up to the horses as she walked over to the tree. She grabbed her pocket knife as she cut two pieces of bark from it. She grabbed some vine as she walked over to Gabe. She began to make a splint as she applied the wood and vine to his leg.

Gabe
Gabe smiled between noises, his leg stung as she touched it. He tried to move his foot but instead cause his joint to pop. Gabe yelped as he scooted backwards, throwing his head back with the pain.

Brook

Brook rest his head on the walls of the trench to keep him stable."don't move" she said as she finished the splint. She looked up. "I can get up there stay here" she said as she began to climb the wall. Loose Ricks and dirt fled from the walls as she climbed making it hard for her to keep her grip.

Gabe
Gabe scooted against the wall and spoke " stand on my shoulders" he said as he looked at her " come on" he said as he adjusted his position for her to climb

Brook

Brook looked to him. " ill be back as fast as I can" she said as she leaned down to him as she kissed him and then began to climb the wall using his shoulders. She sprung off them letting her get a good grip Orr the wall.

Gabe
Gabe tensed his shoulders as she climb. He let the feeling of her lips reminisce on his as he sat there in the dark. He could here her climb, the horses talking, and feel the occasional piece of dirt fall on him.

Brook

Brook had finally reached th e top when the horses greeted her. She climbed on Firefox as Beatrice trailed behind him. She kicked as they sped off into a gallop towards the barn. Firefox galloped as she bounced to the feel of his gate.

brook hurried to the barn as she pulled back on the bit at Firefox. He can to a rearing slide stop as she dismounted quickly. She tied him up to the barn tie out as she raced for the house. Sh slammed the door behind her as she came in. Loud enough for her dad to wake as he stood in his underwear with a pistol in his hand. " thought you were an intruder!" he laughed as he put the gun down. Brook quickly told her dad what had happened after she had dialed 911. She grabbed a rope from the house as she headed out... and some band-aids and goz wrap in case she was there before the ambulance. She loaded up as saddle bag as she placed it on Firefox. she slid onto his back as she gave a holler to him. He lunged into a gallop as they ran through the midnight's gloomy setting.

Brook

Onice Brook had reached the large tech she yelled for gabe. A rush of panic went through her body as she didn't hear a response. She lowered the rope timing It to the horn of firefox's saddle and then anchoring It to the ground. She lowered herself as she got down to the bottom of the trench. She could see nothing as she crawled through the dirty area. She yelled gabes name as she went trying to find him.

Gabe crawled quickly into the darkness, away from Brooks voice. He grunted as he drug his legs threw the dirt. He was blind from the dirt and darkness as he reached a ledge to the side of a hill. He sighed as he looked back to hear the crunching of leaves. Once, twice, the noise came closer as he held his breath. He shook his head as faint, glowing eyes appeared from behind a tree. Snarls crawled from the throat of the create her as Gabe threw rocks at it.

Brook

Brook heard a slight snarl pear out from the darkness. Her breath sharpened as she knew what it was. She then had realized she had lost the rope. "No no no no" She said was she moved her hands fast was against the ground. She knew she had to jeep moving. She moved closer to the growls s she could see eyes.

Gabe
Gabe breathes heavily as he sat, facing the wall of blackness. He closed his eyes and he seemed to become unaware of the danger that circled him. His body relaxed as his thoughts swirled with the images of Brook. He whispered to himself slowly as he opened his eyes. " I love you". He whispered as he climbed to a tree, lifting his body upward. Gabe grunted loudly as his throat burned.

Brook

Brook searched violently back and forth as she stuck her hands out to feel. Her breaths sharpened and became louder. She grew closer to the growls as she heard words. "Gabe?!" She screamed as she looked wide eyed through the darkness. She let out a scream as the growling beast grew face to face with her.

Gabe raised his head and saw a small shape of a woman. " Brook!" He screeched as he lunged his body on top of the beats. Gabe yelled as he rested the animal, cries of pain rang out as the two fought.
