Brook smiled as she headed for the truck. She definitely wasn't going to let her hand or Clair ruin gabe's night. She hoped not he truck as she watched her dad drive down the road back to the ranch. She had had it with Clair and she was gonna be sorry. Especially because her dad was filing a lawsuit.

Gabe got in and started the truck. The engine roared and spat as he drove back to the ranch. " I'm gonna check on Foxfire before we head to Lee's" he said as he starred ahead

Brook

Brook nodded as she worried about Cobalt. She looked out the window waiting for the familiar surroundings of the ranch and it's surroundings.

Gabe pulled into the drive and parked. He jumped out and walked to the barn. E hairs on his neck raised as he walked inside and saw his horse munching hay. He smiled and patted his horse

Brook

Brook smiled as she hoped out of the car. Her hand had been put in a sling to keep from hitting anything. She walked over to Cobalt's stall as he gave a low nicker to her. "Hey boy" she said as she walked over to him. He sniffed her hand as he turned his nose at it. He began to move his mouth over the sling.

Gabe felt as though something was wrong. He looked over his happy horse. Nothing. Gabe s reached his head as his hair stood one d mysteriously

Brook

Brook soon walked over to gabe. She then realized. She looked to gabe"were is Beatrice??" She said a since of worry on her voice as she looked to Firefox.

Gabe haven't even noticed the missing horse. He shrugged and looked outside. He heard a low Nicker come from her empty stall. Gabe walked over to it and peeked in as he saw Beatrice lying on the saw dust

Brook

Brook looked to him as she rushed to Beatrice. "Why is she in here" she said as she looked to her horse who was sprawled out across the floor laying down. She looked to her in which she seemed to be in pain. Brook crouched beside her as she heard hard breathing. "I'm not sure what's wrong" she said as she looked to Gabe.

Gabe eyed the horse and spoke " I'm not sure, colic maybe" he looked at Beatrice who grunted as Brook moved along

A since of worry washed over her as she looked at her horse. "What do we do?" She said as she looked to Gabe. All had struck in one day and so much had happened this was the last thing she wanted. She pet Beatrice's neck trying to get her to relax. She could feel Firefox's breaths through the bars.

Gabe shook his head as he grasped the stall door " I don't.. Know" he said as he eyes darted " I've never felt with colic if she has it" he said as he watched her horses stomach rise and fall

Brook looked to him. He seemed so calm as if he didn't care." Call the vet.." She said as she looked at him. Her eyes filled with worry as she felt her horse.

Gabe pulled out his phone slowly as he didn't take his eyes from the horse. He dialed the number and spoke to the vet quickly. He hung up and ran into her stall. He squared by Brook and placed his hand on Beatrice's back legs " it's not collace, she has muscle strain. Bad" he said as he tapped her twitching leg veins.
