Sorry for just randomly posting but how exactly do you put a layout on your profile page? I'm only asking because I'm interested in a layout but I don't truly know how it works, just how it looks.

You will need to upgrade to Deluxe in order to be able to have a full-scale layout. The basic account does not accept any advanced HTML and CSS codes.

Once you upgrade, you can design a layout using HTML and CSS coding.

Oh. What if I buy a layout from someone and not create it myself?
Would that still need a deluxe account?

you need deluxe in order for a layout to display properly on your page regardless of who does the coding :)
