ApHC EV- changes to registration

Hey All, 
i just wanted to make everyone aware of the update to the eligibility for registration for those applying to get their horses registered.

I contacted the ApHC USA today and inquired about sooty, silver, champagne and rabicano genes and if they are recognized ( accepted) in horses applying for registry. 

I received a prompt reply stating.. " The ApHC recognizes only the Champagne color of those you listed."

I've sent out a newsletter to club members informing them that we would be making the same changes to registration guidelines on our ApHC EV. I have also updated the main club page for anyone looking for further information.

As of February 1, 2023, horses carrying silver or rabicano will no longer be approved for registration in our club as we have been trying to mirror the ApHC USA  registration guidelines as closely as possible. Champagne will continue to be recognized.

As before, any horses carrying sabino, tobiano or splash will not be eligible for registration with the ApHC EV but are eligible for registration with the International Pintaloosa Horse Registry
