I renamed mine. The stally after our male dog, Jeremiah, who passed almost a year ago & the mare after our female dog Piper (Piper was Jeremiah's "wife" when he was with us). Piper is still with us - thank goodness! I choose those names because the horses are actually colored like their namesakes. I felt it was meant to be.
