How can I have a negative amount of money on hand?

I bought Brown Leather Dye for 750, then I dyed a bridle. Now it says I have $-213?? 

This is a bug, report in the Bug Zapper. There mustn’t be a check for how much money you have on hand for the dyeing process.

And maybe it could be turned into a feature, like the tack shop allows for their own sort of credit system, you can spend as much as you have in the bank and it'll be a negative amount until you get more money on hand, it already works that way, Abbey could just say it's a feature so she can focus on the more important things ;)
