Markings: None Traits: Skittish, caring, quick learner, motherly, agile, energetic Other: Red nail polish on front left hoof. Broodmare. Story: Elisha's Gold was born in a rescue, her mother died immediately after giving birth to Elisha. Elisha lived in the rescue until she was 3 months old. Taken by a medium quality dressage facility. Elisha was taken care of by a young man, the stable hand, until she was able to begin basic riding and dressage training at 2&frac12;. Elisha trained and worked hard, then, at age 5, her current rider - a teenage boy named Aaron - entered her in her first dressage competition. Coming in 4th, the pair began training at a more advanced dressage level and continued to compete as much as they could take. Both working hard to achieve their many goals. When Elisha was 6 yrs old she was entered in an advanced competition. Her rider Aaron and herself improved greatly within the year. It was a very close competition and Elisha's Gold placed 2nd in the competition. A middle aged man was watching the competition and saw Elisha - taking interest in her immediately, asked Elisha's owner if he could test one of his female riders on her to see how high Elisha's skill in dressage is. He was interested in buying her, despite Aaron's opinion on his partner being sold, her owner agreed. After having his student test Elisha for an hour he liked what he was seeing and offered a price that made her current owner extremely excited. He agreed. That night, Elisha was taken back home - her owner was packing all her tack and supplies up and putting it in the back of his vehicle. In the morning she was washed, groomed, and fed before being loaded into the trailer. She was taken to her new stable, a high quality dressage training and competition facility. She was stunned at the sight of her new home! She is now training at a really high level. Elisha's Gold has been winning high places in competitions and has an extremely trained and advanced rider. Aaron is permitted to visit her twice a month or to ride Elisha, which he gladly does. And her story continues as life does. Wrote On April 2nd, 2016. I did that on purpose, I wanted her to have kind of an 'unusual' buckskin type of colour xD without much darker spots. @ Buck - completely up to you, if your bored out of your mind as I am you can give it a go ♥ But I may leave her just as is. I find her quite stunning actually XD There's a horse that looks somewhat like her at the barn I was previously working at lol 0 members like this post.
