when submitting horses for contests and it is a member vote would you:-

1. choose the horse with the rarer coat colour and conformation that has a poor in it

2. choose the horse with a more popular colour and better conformation/nss

your comments are greatly appreciated.

For me it depends on what kind of club I'm in. For club connected to color, I'd choose the rarer color, for a club connected to quality show horses, low NSS etc. I'd choose the horse with better confo and NSS.

I go with whatever is most visually pleasing if the contest doesn't have a set objective, but I will vote for horses with exceptionally low NSS when I see them!
