how to show image on forum post

How do I get an image to show on a post? I always have to link the image, but I would like to be able to have it be seen without having to go to the link 

You need to copy the direct image link. This is usually right click > copy image address/url. However some hosts like sta.sh and wix sites can create super long image codes which might not be usable for account tag and signatures. 

If you click on the thing that looks like a picture next to the chain in the area above the box when you are typing up a forum post/reply, a thing will pop up that has a place to put the url. Paste the url there then click insert and your image will show as an image :D It might look big when your making up your post/reply, but EV will auto resize it to fit the forum for you :D
