"We'll meet where the two paths meet, there is a cave near there where we can rest, Adria just be safe and get out of there now!"

Owen reaches the meeting place unconscious on Duke

She  grabbed her shawl and   ran to Daisy before  racing off to search for the cave he mentioned.

When she found it, her fangs came out three inches at the smell of blood  Im coming... She said, letting the smell of blood guide her to Owen. And when she did she   got off of Daisy and ran over to Owen , her arms around him as gently as possible. Mumbling words of healing , her hand on his blood. " Owen! Stay with me! Please" she pleaded as she repeated the  words of healing over and over again.

Owen inhaled. "Adria!" 

"I meant every word i said earlier. I'll tell you everything you need to know"

" I want to hear them now... " Adira said holding him in her lap , her head on his, her arms around him, even though she was bloody from him " What in the name of my kingdom happened!  I dont remember you loving me a hundren years ago... at least not that i recall." then  added " why dont you refresh my memory"

"I love you Adria, i never stopped, i worked for your father- secret protection. Long story short we fell in love but your dad didn't like this and i was forced to refresh your memory."

"Adria, if you want me to refresh your memory now, i will but i can't make any promises that i'll enter your life again. Maybe it's for the best. But i'll need to take you home first."

" You worked for my.. father!?" Adira said astonished and stood up quickly, bringing Owen with her  'I never trusted my father... Even if I asked for advice to help me with things.... He never had time for me anyways... my mother on the other hand.. she and I were inseparable. We did everything together,  riding bareback int he summer... swimming,   all sorts of fun things. But all that ended when they died  in front of me from your men!"

She hopped onto Daisy and was turning her around to head back to her home. " Owen.... refresh my memory now or ill leave you here to die like my family"

"Your father loved you so much Adria, you and your mother were all he would talk about. Before he died he was planning something big for you two, he never got the chance to tell me what it was." 
Owen took a big breath 'i can't belive i'm about to do this'   
"Fine, i'll do it now"

" Stars above! Tell me!" Adira snarled as she slowly began to get impatient. But when her memory of a hundred years ago flooded her mind she gasped... " Owen... not all at once.. please!"  she  got off Daisy and placed her hand on the cave wall to steady herself " one memory at a time, if you will,  Owen"
Her breathing got heavy, her chest heaving  What did my father have planned?

"Goodbye Adria,"
The erasing was done. 

"Excuse me miss, your horse looks a bit restless- you might want to head off soon and it looks a bit dark to be out!" Owen knew she wouldn't remember him. 'Maybe one day we'll meet again Adria but for now i know you'll be protected. Your father told me to protect you and that's what i'll do. If only you knew."

" Do you have any idea who I am?" she snarled ' my name is Adira Laire, the queen of Vampires"
She  showed her fangs in reply to the  lone who spoke but them  got back onto Daisy and galloped off back into the snow back to her palace and refused to leave the palace doors. Her eyes searched for  her lost lover... the one she searched for  a hundred years... but his face never  came to her and thought something was wrong I cant remember anything!  she snarled at herself. Not even remembering what had happened in the cave or who she spoke to.

Every memory was...gone...forever. Her family, Owen... her past.. All gone. And she locked every door and shut every shade in the  palace to keep darkness inside. Sadness filled her heart. Broken.

Owen pushed Duke's forlock away from his eyes and spoke " I miss her already Duke, did i do the right thing for both of us." He sighed deeply. "Come on Duke, i need to find a place for you then i have a plane to catch!"

The winds were biting at their skins. "Don't worry, i see Poppy's stables up ahead, you'll be warm soon."

Owen was now all alone in the snow. 'I need to find some place to rest for the night before i head to the city, i guess the cave will do.'

Adira was too depressed to still leave her palace, but she forced herself out of her bed and grabbed her shawl and grabbed her old stallion before trudging into the thick snow " Come on  boy.."
His breathing was weak, and labored.

After a while they finally reached a place with a fork in the rode and she instinctively took the one to the right and headed on forward  Why do I sense danger....   she thought, looking around. But seeing nothing, she kept  walking on. if anyone can hear me she said telepathically

"Adria! Are you okay- are you hurt? Adria speak to me!" 
Owen woke up from his sleep-'i must find Adria'

"Adria! ADRIA!" Owen shouted on the top of his lungs. 

 But she had no memory of who way speaking but responded any ways  w-who are you? HOw do you know my name? She asked  stopping when she saw a little cottage a few feet from her " I cant go forward, boy... "
She then turned around like she was going to head back the other way when a figure stopped her in her tracts " Who are you!" she snarled, her fangs at the ready " Let me pass or I kill you where you stand"
Her stallion pacing back and forth trying to find a way past.

"Charles i swear to god lay one finger on her and you'll regret it" Owen appeared behind Charles. 'Adria i'm here, don't worry- go back to the palace, i'll protect you!'
"You've gone soft Owen, what ever happened" 
"I'll tell you what happened Charles- that girl you want to hurt is the love of my life and now you had your chance"

Owen pounced onto Charles, sinking his fangs deep into his neck. "LEAVE ADRIA ALONE OR I SWEAR TO GOD I WILL END YOU FOREVER"
