Hi all!

CBarb here:) I am SO excited about this group because I am a fitness junkie! I started my fitness journey about two years at the end of my sophomore year of college because like almost all college students...I gained about twenty pounds. My boyfriend at the time (now fiance YAY) was a football player and a big muscle head, still is lol, and started to help me at the gym and with a diet.
Fast forward to this year and I have now lost all that weight and I work out six days a week and am on a strict paleo diet. On top of lifting weights (because its addictive and I love big quads and biceps lol) and doing insanity as my cardio daily, I do crossfit about 2-3 times a week. It is so much fun and such a positive environment! Working out and eating healthy has helped me so much even in my school work. I am an environmental biology major so the work load is extremely heavy and I am stressed out 24/7. The gym is the place I go to release that stress! I used to ride six days a week but unfortunately I cant afford it anymore while in school :(
On another note, I lost all this weight and have continued to keep it off, thanks to herbalife! Herbalife provides healthy meal replacement shakes I take 2-3 times a day to help me stay on track.
My overall goal is honestly to get jacked....I LOVE Ronda Rousey and Dana Linn Bailey, they are both an inspiration. I am currently on a 90 day challenge to eat clean and build more muscle (I was squatting 125 yesterday which was super exciting, a new record for me). On day 10 right now!!

The look of pure exhaustion and only 2/3 done with a workout. I had this bright idea to workout on my back deck today as opposed to the gym which I normally ALWAYS do. I couldn't remember why I stopped working out outside... until I finished 1 set. It SUCCKKKKS. By set 5, there wasn't a dry article of clothing on my body. Though I'm sure the neighbors sitting out on their back deck were enjoying watching all of my pain and suffering -.- but nonetheless, I got in a great workout.

I mixed things up today and did a no-equipment workout which I haven't done in ages! And even without equipment, I was busting my butt and dead tired by the time I was done.

I just bought an exercise ball, mostly for sitting (supposed to help with spine alignment, tone stomach, balance etc.) as opposed to laying on my bed, but might do some exercises with it. Also considering getting a Fitbit, especially with Gaia pushing my impatient butt towards one xD I am not nearly hardcore emough compared to some of you though! lol

@CBarb, my cousin does Herbalife as well. If I'm not doing too much exercise outside of light jogging and basic yoga is it worth it, or no? I feel like it may be one of those things thats great to use in addition to workouts but if you're hoping to just eat and lose weight (not that I am but like I said not a heavy workout load) you'll be disappointed.

@losteh Yes! It is definitely still worth it, i actually started using herbalife before my fiance got me into working out and I lost 15 pounds before i added working out to my routine. Two of my friends and actually my sister are trying it right now without working out and they love it. If you want to pm me i can give you more information if youd like! I am not a distributor but I can help you get in touch with one if you wanted too. I get so excited about it because it helped me soo much lol and i dont think I could have come this far without it. Herbalife has many products but i just buy the meal replacement shakes

well, I guess my goal is to maintain constant weight. I've struggled with really bad anxiety and digestive problems as well as eating disorders, and so I'd like to maintain a constant weight/shape.

I have a lot of rock climbing planned for the month of may, and so I'd like to get in shape for that!

Right now I am at my normal weight of around 125 lbs and I'm 5'6" Everyone tells me i'm really skinny but I don't feel that small! haha

I've been waiting to have a chance to sit down in post in here all day!
I've just gotten back at it in the last two months after being super inconsistent. Trying not to focus too much on weight lose and more on being healthier in general, though I'd really like to lose 10-15lbs over the summer.
I struggle to stay motivated, and sugar is my downfall.
I've been trying for the gym 4-5 days a week, unfortunately by the time I'm done working on the weekend it's closed :( Gotta love picky hours. Hoping we can all help keep each other motivated :D

Help The Fish!!

EQUIVERSE!! We need your help! Gaia and I have recently discovered a 40 gallon fish tank and put in an order for some really pretty fish. The only problem is we don't have any water! We need your help!

The challenge is to drink water!

Yup, that's right! Drink water. For every cup of water YOU drink, a cup of water appears magically in the tank. A 40 gallon fish tank is 640 cups of water, so we need to come together to drink 640 cups of water before our fish arrive at the end of April. I told Gaia I would set the tank up on the first, so the challenge starts then.

So April we're going to rock it, right?!?!

Awesome!

So in review...
- drink water
- post how many cups you have drank that day
- fill fish tank
- Challenge goes from April 1st to April 30th

@ gaia...that'd be rad to meet someone from EV!

GAH! rock climbing. I love it. I've learned so much about myself and met so many people through it..it's mindfully good!

@kimtia I'll be all over the country this year :))

I guess I'd also like to get a good yoga routine going as well!
