Fay
Fay gave a loud whinny to Trucker before the trailer drove off. She wanted to tell him how she felt. Though now was clearly not the time. Even though Fay liked to keep her coat clean, she had no choice but to roll in some dirt to get rid of the flies. When Trucker returned, she got up and went as close as she could get. Fay was taken to her stall, and groomed clearly not by her assigned groom who she hadn't seen much. When Trucker was in his stall for the night she took her one and only chance. "Trucker," she hesitated with her tone softer, and more affectionate than usual,"I know it's only been like what three days, well 6 including being stuck in the trailer, but I think I think," she stopped for a moment,"I like you..." she said being embarrassed. She looked away not believing she just said it.

Trucker
Trucker Rose His Head, and Stayed Quiet. He'd Look Away, Quite Embarrassed.. He'd Take a deep Breath and Stepped Forward Speaking "Fay.. listen. I Respect your Opinion, but i'm not ready to be in love.. But you'll still be like a best friend to me! I Promise, i'll give you the correct answer soon! I'm just constantly in and out of places and thinking about that.. it'll worry me.. But Don't Worry. Like I Said I'll answer your confession Soon!" Trucker Lowered His head, and Sighed, Slightly Feeling Bad about his Reponses as he Passed Her Stall and Went down to the Pastures

Fay
Fay gave a nod as she was quite embarrassed. She was young, and still a filly. She knew it was quite foolish. Now she knew how Emma felt. It took about a week for Emma to get back on Fay. William Davis had finally convinced her, and Fay stood perfectly still. Emma rode her bareback, and she eventually felt comfortable riding her again.
A lot happened 6 months later. Fay and Emma entered about 10 shows, and got several trophies and ribbons. Fay was also 2 now, so she was now a mare. The mare still felt embarrassed and foolish for telling Trucker. The owner of the ranch even bought about 6 new horses. Some were even appaloosas.
Fay and Emma were riding in the outdoor arena bareback. They cantered steadily, and went to the barrels. 3 barrels. 2 hearts. 1 soul. That's what barrel racing is, and did it as if they were one even on bareback. After training, Emma gave the mare a quick brushing, and placed her in the pasture. Fay galloped around happily now comfortable with the other horses. She nipped one of her friend's, a seal bay mare, in the flank and galloped away. Time for a chase. Fay loved chases, and when she got tired she did a quick stop. Fay caught her friend, Miralda, by surprise. Fay glanced at Trucker and sighed. She then went to go chase her friend for a bit. Once she stopped, she was led into the barn. Fay was given a good grooming, and she was placed into her stall for the night. She munched happily on her meal, and she was glad to call this place home.

Kosmo
Kosmo shuddered in the trailer that lurched along the dusty road for what seemed like forever. He had been in trailers and who knows where else for who knows how many days. He hadn't been properly exercised in days- he knew that much. The trailer came to a squeaking stop and Kosmo sighed. How much longer of this do I have to bear? Light spilled into the trailer as a large man opened the door, and Kosmo turned towards him. Behind the large man sat hills, trees, and a large statue staring right at him. Have I made it? The man led Kosmo off the trailer, and Kosmo nearly stumbled getting off. Everything was so much larger here- maybe because he was just so short. Kosmo's muscles flexed under his skin as he got off the trailer. He looked like a walking truck, and he tossed his head around, ready to finally have some company. Being in that trailer was exhausting, but as Kosmo looked around he noticed quite a few horses. He longed to meet them all, and tell them about his journey from his old home to this one. A new man came to fetch Kosmo, and gaped at the sight. "You weren't lying when you said this thing was deadly." He gave a chuckle and put Kosmo out in a round pen to watch how he moved. A few men gathered around to look at such a sight and Kosmo was tickled. These people act like they have never seen a bronc riding horse before. What ignorant men.

Fay
Emma was leading Fay to the barn when she stopped as a trailer approached the ranch. Fay stood right by her watching. I didn't know there would be any horses arriving today. She thought, but she was eager to meet whoever was inside. When the trailer was open, Fay and Emma were both shocked to see the stallion inside. She'd never seen a bronc horse before. Once the stallion was loaded off the trailer, Emma led her to the outdoor arena to train some more. The two had a big competition coming up, so they needed to train as much as possible. The outdoor arena was located right by the round pens, but Fay paid no attention to the stallion. Leslie came walking toward the arena, and told Emma to practice reining bareback. Since the pair were great at bareback, they wanted to start off with the saddle, but in the middle of the performance, to take off the saddle.
They knew it was a bit risky, but they had to try. Fay and Emma wanted to show everyone what they could do. So, after practicing bareback a bit, Leslie placed Fay's saddle on. The two were at it again. Halfway through, Fay went to a slow and steady canter. Emma started to remove the saddle, and pushed it off into the dirt. Emma was now riding bareback. And easily completed their performance. Though, this was only training. Leslie picked up the saddle, and told Emma to cool her down, and place her in the pasture. That's exactly what Emma did.

Kosmo
Kosmo watched as a mare and girl rode in the round pen across from them. Kosmo didn’t understand how the other horses liked having riders, but of course he didn’t hold it against them. He was a bronc, down to the wire. The other horses didn’t quite understand him, and he didn’t understand them. He learned to push past it and make friends. A few men escorted Kosmo to the pasture to let him shake off the days of travel, and Kosmo explored. He trotted as close to the mare he saw earlier as he could get, and introduced himself. “Hello, my name is Kosmo! Who are you?”

Monica
The flaxen chestnut leopard appaloosa mare was getting close to arriving to the ranch that was going to be her new home. She had only been in the trailer for about 5 hours, but still hated being in trailers. When she arrived, everyone nearby was in aw at the sight of the mare. The back of the trailer opened, and Emma happened to be the one to unload her. Emma would also be assigned to ride this horse along with Fay. Monica remained calm, and she was placed in the mare pasture. It felt good to be out of that trailer. I wonder what this place is like. She thought. Monica saw a strawberry roan mare near the fence away from the others as well as a black stallion on the other side of the fence who seemed to be talking to her. The mare wasn't quite social, and stayed in the corner of the pasture and grazed.
Fay
Fay was grazing in the pasture in her little spot when she was a bit spooked when the stallion greeted her on the other side of the near by fence. "The name's Fay," she said with a bit of a snort. Fay looked seeing there was another new arrival. My how beautiful that mare was. At least I'm not the only one that prefers to be by myself. She thought. Fay turned around, and walked away. She greeted one of her friends, and talked with her a bit before grazing once again. When Fay arrived, it was early spring, and now it was close to fall. The days were growing shorter, and the temperature was dropping. Some of the mares were also being bred, but Fay hasn't been yet.

Kosmo
Kosmo pinned his ears, wondering if he had said something wrong. He huffed, and walked further down the fence line to greet another new arrival. "Hello, my name is Kosmo. I just got here as well. Any chance you know anyone here? I haven't even gotten the chance to introduce myself to more than 2 horses." Kosmo waited for a response eagerly. He hoped at least someone would want to talk to him- maybe the last mare had just had a bad day. I will just give her the benefit of the doubt. When a second mare approached, Kosmo tossed his mane and introduced himself once again. See, they aren't all so bad!
Esprit
Esprit was intrigued by the short stocky stallion, and overheard he was being used as a bronc. She wanted to meet him desperately, so she trotted over to him and another new arrival on her side of the fence. "Hello, my name is Esprit. Nice to meet you both!" Esprit flicked her tail excitedly and studied the new horses.

Monica
Monica preferred to be alone especially when she was a newcomer. She wasn't much a social mare. Just like Fay was when she first arrived six months back. "I just got here like 5 minutes ago. I've never been to or heard of this place. I'm Monica," she paused as Esprit came up to her and the stallion,"Hi.." she said extremely shy. Monica felt a bit uncomfortable, and didn't like to be the center of attention.
Emma
Emma opened the gate to the mare pasture, and walked in. Once she did, she made sure to close it not wanting anyone getting out. She walked to Fay who trotted up to Emma when she only got halfway to Fay. Fay nudged her pockets knowing something was in there. Sure enough there was. Emma pulled out a couple sugar cubes, and fed them to the mare,"We gotta be heading out soon. The competition is tomorrow, and it's a bit far. I'll be back in an hour or so, and we'll be on our way." After petting the mare for a minute or two, Emma went back to work. She had to get everything put in the trailer, and ready for Fay.
Fay
Fay happily greeted Emma, and appreciated the treats. When Emma left to finish getting things done, Fay noticed the new mare. She could tell she was just like Fay when she first arrived. So, she calmly walked towards her, and stopped beside Esprit. "Think you can handle everything while I'm gone?" Fay asked Esprit jokingly knowing everything would be fine. "You must be Monica. Emma mentioned you one or twice. I'm Fay." she said knowing the mare was extremely shy, and uncomfortable right now. "I was the same way when I arrived here 6 months ago." she said "You'll settle in a few days." Fay turned around and trotted back to the gate waiting for Emma to come and get her to leave for the competition.

Esprit
Esprit nodded, "I'm sure I'll make do, good luck tomorrow." Esprit turned when she heard Clay's voice, and approached him happily. All throughout last year's season, they took home scores of ribbons and banners. The duo had somewhat made a name for themselves, and now that Esprit's 3 y/o season was over, it was likely time for her to foal. A foal of hers would probably sell for quite a bit locally, or maybe even more around the states. She knew the stable owner would love that profit, but Esprit really didn't want to rush things quite yet. She wanted to be an event horse for longer than just a year, and she knew Clay did too. The pairs hit up shows as much as they could, and even competed in the regional and national events last year. Esprit loved being the center of attention, so it suited her. She nickered happily at Clay, but to her surprise she was fetching Kosmo- not herself.
Clay
Clay had the vet come out to check Kosmo out, because the stable owner had said he planned to use him as a stud for a few mares before his season on the circuit. Clay wasn't sure just who he planned on using him with, but he knew they ought to get on it soon or there were going to be foals born in the high heat of summer. Clay fetched Kosmo and lead him to the tying racks. He patted his shoulder and left to go grab the list of mares that needed to be moved into a smaller pasture, where Kosmo was headed after his checkup. To Clay's unfortunate surprise, his own mare was on the list. He sighed and moved Esprit and a few other 3, almost 4 year old, mares into the pasture.
Kosmo
Kosmo had been used as a stud a few times before he left the Netherlands, so he didn't understand why the vet had to check him over. Procedure, I guess. Kosmo caused no trouble, and was led into the new pasture with the mares sometime later.

Fay
"Thanks, this one is going to be different. Me and Emma have a plan to surprise the judges, and well everyone else. Me and Emma are doing barrels, reining, and trail. We should be back late tomorrow night." she said a bit a excited before she greeted the new mare, and walked off. Fay wouldn't be on the list Clay had since she was about to leave for the competition. She didn't really want to be bred, and she didn't want her foal's dad to be a bronc. She hardly knew the newcomer, but she wasn't holding that against him being a bronc.
45 minutes later, Emma came to grab Fay. It was time to go, and she was led into the trailer. She neighed to Esprit telling her good luck when she noticed her in with a few other mares, and the new stallion. The trailer drove off, and within 5 hours, they arrived. Fay was settled into a smaller stall, and slept for the night. She needed all the sleep she was gonna get.
The first event of the day was cutting, but Fay wasn't a cutting horse, so she slept in a bit. After cutting, was barrel racing. Emma did bring Fay's saddle, but wanted to do most of everything they were doing on bareback. So, Emma placed Fay's bridle on, and waited til they're names were called. All the other riders had saddels, and it wasn't against the rules to ride bareback. The quickly completed the course with a total of 00:14:39 seconds; the quickest time yet. A few more riders later, and they took the blue ribbon.
Same wen't for reining, and trail. The judges were very surprised when Emma removed the saddle still riding on Fay as she was cantering around the arena. 3 blue ribbons to bring home. It was dark once they left, and arrived around midnight. Fay slept good that night, an couldn't wait to tell her friends all about it.

Fay
Fay was in the pasture all day after her competition. She stood with her friends telling them how it went, and what happened. She laughed when she told them about everyone's faces, but was interrupted when Emma came to get her. She said something about forgetting to brand her, but she wasn't really paying attention. Emma tied Fay near the new mare who had seemed she came from high class. William Davis came by with a metal rod in his hand, and Fay wasn't expecting all that pain when he placed the hot metal on her flank. When he removed it, she snorted and gave a stamp of her hoof. Fay flicked her tail hitting him in the face, as she seemed to laugh a bit.
Emma put Fay back in the pasture, and she trotted to the fence closest to Trucker, "So, how's it going?" she asked still embarrassed about what she told him 6 months ago.

Fay
"Yeah, I guess they forgot about me." she looked at the dun mare,"You know her?" she asked now a bit curious. "Oh I'm doing good just a bit worn out from the competition yesterday." she said. Fay looked around at a few pastures. There were a few mares with a stallion in a couple different pastures. It's that time of year. Fay thought with a grin.
Monica
Monica was in the corner of the pasture by herself of course when she saw Trucker. Like any other mare, she was into stallions. That blue roan just stood out, and she wanted to go introduce herself which was way out of her comfort zone. But, she didn't seeing Fay talking to him, and she noticed how they acted towards each other. She didn't watch for long, and decided to graze on the sweet grass.
