As you know I started doing art and buying art a few months ago. I figured to reach out and see how you guys feel about my art! You could tell me things you don't like about my art, things you do like, or ways I could improve. I do hope to start making some lineart soon, as I have one in progress right now. Here and here is all of the art that I have done. For others and for me. I wanna know how you feel!

Personally, I think that your art style is really awesome and it's very unique too! =) I like how your art is different styles and that you enjoy doing different types of art styles which is also super awesome!! I love your art, it's amazing and it's stunning!! ♥ ♥

I like your coloring, but I'm just not one to be very interested in art on free lines, I'm more interested in unique art than free lines that I see used all the time.

@ Oak - Thank you! I just hope I find a new art program soon that isn't blocked and has different brush shapes aswell as not having to download it. Then I could all kinds of newstuff.

@Ducky - I know I'm slowly trying to make my own lineart, me and Oak will be doing a tag sale together soon

I like that you've improved on your white markings and are starting make them look like actual paint/appaloosa markings (instead of just splodges). And I like that you're starting to incorporate shades also. One tip I do have is to not use pure white, if you pick an off-white based on the coat colour then it will look a lot more natural and more professional.

I would like to see you experiment more with colour shades and dapples. Colour shading, i.e counter shading on sooty, or using 2-3 tones for a chestnut instead of one, can make any lineart look a lot more interesting without needing to actually shade it. I think this would be a good next step for you to progress.

@Maple - Thanks! I have been trying to improve. I have done a few with dappling. I will definitely try those ideas. Some things are hard for me though since I don't have several brushes to choose from. Thanks for the tips. I appreciate them^^

What program do you use? You don't need to have special brushes, heck I do most of my stuff in a round hard brush most of the time.

I use pixlr. I used to use sumo, but I now have to pay for premium if I want to use ore than 3 layers.

I definitely agree with what maple said.
Usually when i start a design with any base coat it has 3 main colours, the mid shade/ base colour and then 1 slightly lighter colour and one slightly darker. It helps give the design more depth even if it's the most simplest design.

when picking a white i tend to use an off white, but in the 'yellow' spectrum.

I also used to use pixlr and sumo when i first got into digital art but if you can i highly recommend using, gimp, fire alpaca or medibang paint pro. I have used all 3 and they're all great programs but i currently use medibang. They are all free to use and install. it really makes a difference when you have a nice program that doesn't have any barriers c:

@Altair - Lately I have started to use off whites with yellow, and get what you mean. I'm always open to new ideas. I would try to download one of those programs, but I play on a school device and I can't download anything. Glad to know I'm not the only one that has used pixlr and sumo lol
