Doctors and Dentist

Hi,

Okay, don’t go to either of them if they are in a very foul mood.
My Cousin(different person: not married, no kids, no pets.), she wanted find a dentist, because her old one retired.
My Mom gave her our dentist’s number and she set up an appointment. She told us, She arrived and did paperwork and went in the back and waited for the dentist.
The dentist came in the room with a weird look on his face, she just thought he had a lot on his mind, the assistant was there as well. He looked in her mouth and his face was getting more weirder. He started getting agitated and he took the metal hook and started ripping her gums apart. My cousin started squeaking in pain and the assistant grabbed the dentist’s hand and removed the hook from my cousin’s mouth. But before my cousin could ask the dentist if he is ok, he shove gauzes in her mouth and left. She looked at the assistant and ask if he is ok. The assistant sighed and told her, that he is having a bad day and suggested that she go to the hospital.
She did and the doctor asked if she was in a bar fight, she told the doctor everything that happen. The doctor said, she can sue that dentist for malpractice, but my cousin doesn’t want to do that.
I am shocked, my dentist is really a sweet guy, I guess this is a life lesson here.

that is awful- please tell her to look into filing a complaint with the dental plan. He should not be doing that at all!

I'm not sure how old your cousin is but I'd get her parents involved if she won't sue because that's serious.

@The Cryptic Cat and REAPER-  She is 25 years old, I spoke with her, telling her how sorry I am. She is considering it, but I won’t push her about it.
