*Allow club members to Activate Clubs

I'm not good at articulating myself so just give me a second.

I realize a lot of clubs are inactive and my suggestion is that we allow members of the club to pay the club fees to re-activate the club (it's only 10k) to make the clubs active and accessible again. I realize the club would still technically be "frozen" since the admin or owners aren't active but at least you could access the page, the registry, possible contact the owners or admins to see if they are willing to take over the club (I was admin of the original racing club on here when potato ren went inactive and I took over ownership, I've had it active since). But I had no idea I was a admin until I clicked on the membership page. So maybe something along these lines?

I would love this! The only concern I see is who will get to reactivate it? If it's available to all members, there may be an uproar of who is deserving. Or, it may be civil and there may be an obvious leader. Either way, I am just not sure of how the logistics of that end would work.

Any member of the club! They would just have the option to pay the 10k to keep the club active. They wouldn't have any special privileges or anything!

As long as the money is taken out of the on hand money vs the club bank then I can support this. I wouldn't want someone to be reactivating my club long enough to drain its bank.

yes yes yes, or even be able to fund small bits to do so if the 10k is too much at once, each member can pay like 1k until the 10k fee is paid :D

No support. IMO, you shouldn't be allowed to reactivate the club if you're not the owner or admin. It defeats the whole purpose of leaving inactive accounts untouched. If the owner/admin didn't want the club to be inactive, they would've handed it over to someone active. They didn't do that, therefore, they want to leave the club inactive when they left the game. In the event of unplanned hiatus, it's still the owner's responsibility to find someone who is willing to take over the club as a backup plan. If they didn't choose to do that, they have a reason for it.

A lot of clubs also required admins/owners to accept horses into the registry anyways. Reactivating the club with a closed registry is pointless since members cannot do anything. They cannot host contests, transfer funds, and accept horses into the registry.

You will have the option to quit an inactive club and even unregister all of your horses (including the deceased ones). I wouldn't be able to do that if someone keeps reactivating a dead club before I have a chance to unregister my horses.

If you like the club, just simply leave the original and recreate it. If you're a basic player, find a deluxe player who has the same goal to create the club for you and assign you as an admin. No need to reactivate an abandoned club.
