Does Gelding a horse give them any boost in shows? or what is the point in gelding a stallion? obviously if they are gelded they cant breed...but does that mean their stats raise more quickly or something??

Nope. Not stats or boost, at the moment I believe. Most people do it just to stop over breeding and or to keep their lines closed.
