So for those following along, with the previous thread I thought I would clean things up with this thread. On Thursday we took Callie to the vet because she was vomiting and they thought it was a virus. Then we took her on Tuesday because she was still vomiting everything up. When they x-rayed her it showed either IBD (Inflammatory Bowel Disease) which is common in older cats and can be managed with steroids and a change of diet and the internet tells you various ways to manage it and help her feel better. We opted not to do the ultrasound because she’s eating the tuna we mixed with dry food. An as I said any calorie is a good calorie at this point. It’s Thursday now and she’s been without vomiting since Tuesday. So it looks like its the IBD so far. We won’t really know if it’s that or Lymphoma but, with what the testing as shown so far based on bloodwork and how she’s acting after the steroid shot she’s doing better. So thank you all for keeping my Callie cat in your prayers/thoughts. Here are some pictures down below you can look at her eating the tuna and food this morning.

So glad that she’s doing better! Also glad that it’s manageable. Hope that she continues to recover and improve!

Thank you, the vet said that it would take a couple days to be feeling a bit normal. She did eat the wet food that we gave her and has kept that down so far.

Glad to see this update! Seems the steroid is helping her appetite and that's great! Hopefully she'll just keep on responding and getting better as each day goes by. And you always have the ultrasound as a trick up your sleeve if it's ever necessary...options are good.
