Leisure Riding Stat Boosts

I've compiled a list of all the stat-boosting options that leisure riding offers you, based on area you ride in and specialty of the horse! Thankfully leisure riding only offers the options to boost specialty stats so perhaps most of you don't much care which option you click, but perhaps this will come in handy when leisure riding two-year-olds who don't yet have their specialty set. In this scenario I think the algorithm chooses a specialty at random to display and you therefore run the risk of accidentally boosting a NSS when leisure riding.

Or, maybe you're like me and have an unnecessary obsessive compulsion to keep your horses' specialty stats as even as possible, and therefore like to know which stat you're choosing :)

Disclaimer: Sometimes leisure riding will confer stat increases without the option to choose based on text prompts. There is a current petition to change this, located here.

• Dressage: Dodge waves (AGI) - Head for the dunes (INT)


• Driving: Go in the water (STR) - Head for the dunes (END)


• Endurance: Take the dunes trail (END) - Find a shortcut (INT)


• Racing: Head for the dunes (END) - Run in the waves (SPD)


• Show Jumping: Navigate the dunes (AGI) - Go around the dunes (SPD)


• Western: Head for the dunes (INT) - Run in the waves (SPD)

• Dressage: Take a shortcut to get help (AGI) - Talk to the driver (INT)


• Driving: Help out (END) - Pull the car (STR)


• Endurance: Help out (END) - Talk to the driver (INT)

• Western: Talk to the driver (INT) - Hurry to get help (SPD)

I never ride my 2-year-olds in fear that they get the wrong stats. Your compilation actually gives me a chance to consciously ride my horses with certainty that they gain exactly in the specialty that I plan to set them in. I'm bookmarking this for future use :)

In hindsight, I've also added a disclaimer regarding stat boosts that occur without a "choose X or Y prompt"!

Aaaaah...yes.... This reminded me the real reason why I stopped taking my 2-year-olds for rides. It was these random, unpredictable stats, because the prompted stats, which you so diligently recorded, are only the latest addition. So, I'm afraid still no rides for me, even though I was getting excited for upcoming rides with my current yearlings....

Indeed - although I believe that these events are rare enough to not occur often in 7 rides, perhaps we could petition to change all stat increases to prompted choices :)
