Some good news

Well, today I had a doctors appointment, so, I usually go down to the library after and catch a ride home with the roommate when he gots off of work...so, anyways, I was doing some doodling, mostly working on my latest personal piece, one of the library workers said it looked great and asked if I'd be willing to design some bookmarks to donate to their shop to help keep the library open.

So, it's not really PAID art commissions (aside from an occassional free book from the store)...BUT, I am excited about it, and agreed to do it.

If this is the wrong forum for this, Im sorry, I didnt feel like it belonged in any of the art forums, despite being art related.

Im just...kinda ecstatic that they liked my work enough to ask me to do somethin like this.

I also found out that I am no longer "banned" from the library...there is a long story there, and no, it had nothing to do with anything I actually did wrong.

Oh that's great, Buck! :D You're a really nice artists so no wonder you were commissioned. ;) Good luck with designing the bookmarks. ♥

And just think. Someone gets a bookmark, likes the art and actually pays you to do something for them. It will be great exposure. Good job!

Congratulations Buck! Like Rhapsody said, it will be a great way for your art to get out there. Plus, for me personally, just getting a free book here and there would be well worth it but since you like doing art anyway. It's a win, win situation.
