My question is simple but I couldn't find a previous post
When selling a horse, do I need to remove tack/backdrop equipped or do they come off automatically?

Any tack and decor equipped when you sell, trade or transfer a horse will go with the horse. They are only automatically removed when the horse dies on your account.

I've got additional question about decor: when you remove it - does it go back to your inventory or does it disappear as in it got used up
