My Apologies...

#224202 Posted on 2020-06-12 21:10:16

Some may have noticed that I have not been around as much lately. I am in the process of transferring to a new house at work and got set with a much longer than usual transfer date of 6 weeks out from the approval(normal is 2-3 weeks). During this time they have me working some of my 7 days on awake 3rd shifts and some sleep 3rd shifts. This has been difficult/ I have often had days where I am up for over 24 hours at a time and at one point it was around 33 hours without sleep. I have also been picking up hours on my days off.

Aside from my kind goofy work schedule I also have 3 kids who take up loads of my time(which I love), I recently got a 3rd horse, and I have some other general stress in life and by the time(when I have it) that I hop onto EV I have just no motivation.

Hopefully once I am fully transferred over to the new house and on a set schedule I will have some more time for EV and can show my horses regularly again and host more club contests and just be more active in general.

Anyway, I am at work now and totally exhausted as I had a 2 1/2 hour vet appointment this morning after my awake shift at work and was able to sleep 2.5 hours before I had to wake up for an important phone call. I am totally wiped out and am heading off to sleep now.

Please be patient if you message me and it takes a bit for me to respond I am getting on when I can.

Sounds like you've been swamped by RL. Don't worry about anything. We'll all still be here when you do get back :)

I completely understand you. Because of my job (I´m a physician) I can have 24 or even 36 hours shifts, so I perfectly know what is that. Please take your time to rest and recover and weh you are back again you´ll be very welcome!
