I’ll also be taking a break!

My father just had a stroke this morning and was taken to the hospital by my brother, my Dad is ok and did everything the doctors asked him to do. He walked in a straight line, bend over to pick up things, he is talking, but his words are slurred, he went for a Cat Scan.

So I’m locking my horses and focusing on my family right now, I don’t know when I’m coming back.

Update: I just learned that my Dad didn’t have a stroke, but his blood vessels to the part of the brain, that controls speech, have narrowed a bit. 
The doctors are either going to give him medicine or do a procedure to reopen the blood vessels. I have to wait, he has to stay overnight for observation.

Update: my Dad is doing a lot better, but he has to stay in the hospital until Sunday. I’m happy about the progress my Dad is doing.

But when he comes home, I’m going to have to step up and help my parents both.
My Mom had knee replacement surgery in January and has up and down progress.
So I don’t know when I can come back!

So glad to hear he's making such great progress...and it's good that he's right there for them to oversee I think.
You are going to have a lot going on! Knee replacement gosh...that's a bit of a long road and often hard...my dad had both of his done. They are so lucky to have you there to help and I bet they appreciate it so much.
There's no doubt we'll all still be here lol so we'll see you whenever you can!!
