It's all over the news here in California, US... Literally nothing else has come across the news... Absolutely terrifying...

Feline, I am so glad your dad and boyfriend got home safe! My thoughts have been with all victims all day long, also "heel veel sterkte" from me, I am from the Netherlands and somehow I almost certainly know our country (or Germany perhaps) will be next, since those terrorists won't be recognized as terrorists and will look just like tourists like the ones on your airport did.

megansparrow, I also agree on that. I don't feel safe at all anymore in our country. We can only hope and pray the Netherlands won't be next. Not any country should be next. No one should be afraid for terrorism to happen. I pray peace will be found soon for everyone in every country.

My entire family came home safely last night. We had a little family gathering at my parents' home and I am very grateful that everyone was doing ok.

I heard my dad's story. He was just one subway stop away from where it happened, when it happened. He was evacuated by soldiers who just told everyone to run and get the hell out of there. He was close, but other people are so much worse off.

I hope all the injured make it through and will be reunited with their families.

I just heard breaking news on our news station that the 3rd suspect from the bombings was captured. They said they think he is a bomb maker.

Watching all of the news stories is just completely heartbreaking. I've been in love with Belgium ever since my college Art History professor showed us pictures of Bruges. Despite all of this, it's still a country on the top of my bucketlist of places I must see before I die.

They mentioned yesterday that 8 Americans were also injured, one critically, during the bombings.

You guys are still in my thoughts and I am so grateful that your loved ones are safe but my heart breaks for those whose loved ones weren't able to come home.

I pray for everyone over there and that they will make it home safely. It is awful that the world is now like this. So terrible.

It has been two years. We'll never forget
