Why are there never cheap shows?

I just can't show most of my horses now, due to no 20$ fee shows being available?

Yesterday I couldn't enter most of my horses, and today I already have 0 shows hit in N5 Driving.

There are many reasons that no $20 shows might be available.

1st People might be making their shows more expensive in an attempt to earn money.
2nd The $20 shows that are being made might be filling up very fast.
3rd People might not be making a lot of that show (level, "grade", and specialty).
4th Possibly someone who normally makes shows may have suddenly stopped (or switch to making a different kind of show). I forget to make shows about 3 times a week

those are some of the first things that come to mind, but there are probably others.

message me whenever you need shows and which level and what discipline, I dont mind making them cheap frankly, i couldn't care less ^-^

For today I need N5 Driving shows, so you making them now, won't help me one bit. Yesterday I was dumb enough to not show them in the evening, but the next morning, so most of them didn't get showed yesterday (I am now making nightwork of it, because otherwise shows just poof)

Tbh, for one of my 100$ show horses no higher shows then 35$ where available, don't know why that is..

Well, found another one: L2 Driving also lacks shows..

Yeah to be honest I make Novice, Local and 1 Regional driving shows every day - they are all at $75/ea because that's how I make money.

Skuexone was offering a solution for the future.

You could lock those horses and wait for shows, so they aren't losing the opportunity to gain stats.

In response to "I don't know why that is" - It all depends on what shows are left when you show and what people decide to make.

I can't simply lock those horses, they mostly don't make money showing anyway, so it isn't like they need shows to get stats, but it is annoying for those horses that make little profit when showing with 20$ shows.

I really want shows to be more consistent, like enough in each discipline. I can't simply lock those horses, since they are in a division with horses that earn stats with showing, and then their age will be messed up.

It's just a pain to see that when I switch to my welshes and see that those have 4 pages of dressage shows and to see multiple driving classes have 0..

I'm primarily a Western person but tried making a few driving horses just to see how they would do. I can only create 10 shows a day and hope to make money doing it. Several shows never got past 10 entries when I made them in Driving. I guess there just aren't many people entering that Specialty.

Well not everything is going to be cheap on here, especially since a lot of people have been spending more money than they're making so they have to make shows more expensive so they gain a profit. If you want to be more consistent then deal with the shows or lock up your herd until stat gain is better than the current system.

...I love how the common train of thought when someone has an issue on the game is "deal with it".

Anyway. If I have any extra shows after making them for western, I'll see about making some for driving. Is there a level that you seem to need to most of?

Yes, because I am dealing with it, since those horses mostly don't win in shows anyway and the high show horses also gain less stats because there aren't enough entries in their shows. So I am totally fine with the less stat gain, since those horses normally also only earn due to treating.

I still don't know what I need, but I have quite a few horses in N4 and L1.
