Shows? Yipe!

So, when i first joined, i didn't really understand the point in shows. But recently, i just wanted to give it another try with my new Andys, and boy! It has been a huge help! Some days i spend a little more than i make, but it's okay. I really like doing it now! It has been so fun to see how good the horse is going against other players horses. It kind of gives me an image of the horses i breed and know what i need to work on and change. It has been really cool, cause each day i want to progress and see what horses have won shows! It really has helped me get back into the habit of training my horses. I sorta slipped away from that for a while, so shows have been really awesome! I can't wait to see all the shows we can win!!!! If you have any other advice that i could use to help my horses in shows, that would be awesome!

What i don't do already:
I don't treat my horses BECAUSE i want low nss

what i already do:
train them EVERYDAY now
I have tack equiped
I do improved grades 
do use stat boost points
I upgrade tack too


Got anything else i should do?

You can treat your horses daily but with treats that gain stats in their specialty. 

Dressage - Green Apples/Yellow Apples
Driving - Red Apples/Turnips
Endurance - Green Apples/Turnips
Racing - Carrot/Turnips
Show Jumping - Carrots/Yellow Apples
Western - Green Apples/Carrots

There are a lot of people who only show when the horse is towards the top of their grade level. Also not entering more than 3 of your own horses into a show could help(given there are at least 5 total entries).

I use peppermints or hay cubes for foals, choose the speciality that I don't want when they turn three, then convert to the speciality I do want them to be in. It means they gain loads of stats but end up with low nss in the end :)
