Does anyone know if twinning is going to be hereditary or completely random. In nature it's usually hereditary. One of my mares produce and colt and and a filly that have different stats, colour and conformation. Will there be identical twins?

I haven't gotten twins but I am assuming you if did and they were not identical then they are not going to come out that way.

It's a random chance for every breeding, so it's not hereditary. Each twin has its genes rolled separately, so there will not be identical twins.

Are you certain they had different stats? 
If they did, you might want to report that as bug. Two foals from
the same horses, bred at the same time, should have identical stats.

I had twins when I bred miniature horses which had the same stats but my arabs where slightly different in stats.
