Turtles!

So I am currently at the beach, :) and was eating some ice cream (birthday cake!). And the mark off in the sand where turtle eggs are. There were people at two of the things that were beside each other. They worked with the people who save the turtles. They were clearing the path for the turtles. The turtles hatched at about 9:30(usa time),about 20. and the people went to clean up. After they finished cleaning up, 40 more hatched. So they were there until about 1 in the morning! They were waiting for more to hatch. And on the 3rd day, they would dig up the nest and ee if any were reaped and save them. I didn't get to see any baby turtles X(, but it was awesome.

When I lived in Florida...I was 7 or 8 when it happened, but we lived right across the street from the beach and we got to go see turtles hatch. It was awesome. We couldn't touch them but we could shine flashlights towards the water to help guide any lost ones. :) Still one of the most amazing things I've seen and this was 25 years ago. 

It is very awesome. I will never forget it. But I wish I was there to see them hatch. :( But it was still amazing.
