Anyone who likes Breyer model horses

I collect these model horse. They can get really exspensive. I wanted to know if anyone here collects them.

They are too expensive, so i just admire them in stores.

Yes, it took me four years till I got my next model. I was trying to set some money aside, but it slowly adds up. But it will aventually make a difference.

The last ones i’ve seen were huge, but that was over 20 years ago and the store that had them closed down.
I’ve been looking for them in other stores, but haven’t seen one. I have seen other brands, but they don’t have the same appeal. They’re still pretty though.

I don't exactly collect them but I have 3. I have the 2015 Christmas one, the 2018 Christmas one, and another one - not the real fancy kind that my son picked out for me for this past mother's day. 

I don't have a favorite or least favorite as I love them all, and have no idea the cost of them because they were all gifts. 

That's cool. I always tell people if they can't find a gift then I like those horses. That's the only reasons my collection has grown. The Christmas ones are beautiful. I don't have one. But I would love to get one one day.

I have a small herd of them, some were gifts, some were passed down to me by my mom (whose mom had given them to her) and others were bought by me. Accept for the Mustang series ones I got and the Spirit Family sets, the ones I bought were always in lots because I could get so many that way XD Icanbeapennypinchersometimes XD Basically what I'm trying to say is I have no idea what the most expensive one I have got would be, but I did get one for free once so that would be my cheapest one XD

If I had to pick a favorite it would probably be my Medicine Hat Stallion, he is stunning. But I also love my Black Beauty and Family set and the Black Stallion one I have so idk if I could really pick a favorite XD

My least favorite are actually the Christmas ones and any with halters/harness implanted on the horses, the exception being the Old Timer (my dream model XD). I had three of the Christmas ones, my brother got them as gifts for me, but I think I sold two of them... or they are in another box... I kept my favorite one though out of the three XD I'm not sure why I don't like them, just my brain's decision I guess XD

I don't have a place for my Breyers at the moment, though I want to build a shelf over my window so that I can place them there, I just haven't gotten around to it yet XD However, I'll try to dig them out tomorrow and take pictures of them XD I do remember that both of my Rain models have broken legs and that I want to replace them.

Oh and a handy tool for both figuring things out and planning, lol, is this site. I love going there and looking through and drooling XD

The Arabian on the left is the one I got for free :D



The two brown ones on the right are some of the horses my mom gave me. The Medicine Hat to the right is also the one I mentioned as being a favorite of mine.



Besides the pretty one behind the Christmas one, these are all ones I have considered selling, keep going back and forth on the Nokota.
