The Lost

Melody
She'd made her way to the gathering, though a tad skepically. The lady who had called them together did not seem to be in very good shape. Granted, none of them were, but they were the lucky ones (or unlucky, depending on how you looked at it). Melody finally noticed the uncomfortable glances sent her way and stepped away from the circle to gently deposit her bundle on the ground a little ways away. Upon returning, she cast a quick glance around at the faces gathered there. "Well, now we have a lopsided circle. I think the obvious first step is figure out who is injured the worst and prioritize helping them. If there is anyone here with medical training, that'd be helpful. Those of us who aren't too badly injured considering the circumstances should begin working on figuring out how we're going to survive here until help hopefully comes. Or indefinitely, who knows." 

Rowan
Rowan blinked as the woman began to take charge and call everyone to action. She began to deeply respect the woman who seemed so brave in the face of all that had befallen her. Heeding her instructions, Rowan first examined herself and assessed the damage. Miraculously, she had managed to escape with only some mild abrasions on her arms and face that still stung after being immersed in salt water, although the rest of her didn't exactly feel wonderful either. She turned to find anyone who needed assistance and noticed that Cordero's head was still bleeding. 

"We should probably wrap that," she observed. She tore off a piece of fabric from the lower part of her shirt and offered it to him as a sort of makeshift bandage. "Do you want to or should I?"
