Art Apps for Mobile Devices

#203534 Posted on 2019-05-21 09:56:03

I would greatly enjoy getting involved with the art side of this community, as I am an artist in real life... I work with prismacolors, though, and have very little experience with online art.
I also only have a phone, which works just fine to play this game on but I don't know any free apps that would serve the purpose that I'm looking for lol. Any ideas? Are there even apps that are mobile friendly that I can use premade line art with to start? I don't know how handy I'll be at trying to draw lines on something this small. Anywho, thank you bunches!

I use IbisPaint it's free and a easy to use, you can buy the full version but you can still get all the brushes by watching an ad. Medibang paint is also a good one as well, it's also free.

Thank you! I'm in the process of downloading both to see what works best for me.

On another note, where is a good place to find line art?

What type phone do you have? And yes a good place to find free lineart is Deviantart, just be sure to read their rules carefully and credit right on the image you re-color. They have some really good lineart that is greyscaled too.

It's a Galaxy J3.
IbisPaint wasn't clicking with me, but I think I have Medibang figured out.

My first attempt... Dunskin Roan Tobiano. Not the most realistic, but I think this one came out okay.
Lineart by Darya87@deviantart.com, in case the image shows up too small here.
What would something like him be worth?

Yeah, I was going to suggest MediBang Paint and Sketch isn't bad.
