The cost for more horses...

#199846 Posted on 2019-02-09 15:02:07

I want to add more spots for more horses to train, but it is getting very pricey. Is there a reason for the high cost to be able to have more horses? I just spent over $1,000,000 to add like 50 spots. (I think it increases $1,000 every 5 spots you add)

I was thinking about making a suggestion to lower the cost to like a flat fee of $5,000/spot... but wanted to see if there was a reason for the super high costs first. I understand making it a challenge, but this seems a bit too expensive.

You're right it is quite expensive. Right now to add 5 more spots it would cost me $175k. I'm not sure of why the pricing was set up the way it is but I do think that lowering the cost some would be beneficial to many players.

$175K for only 5 spots... yikes!! I have backed myself into a corner I think... I have so many horses and plan to breed them all around the same time so I need to nearly double the amount of spots but don't have like $80 billion to do it lol. I am going to go ahead and add it as a suggestion, I couldn't find any that have already been made about it. It can't hurt!

I think the reasoning behind it is that if you have that many horses, you can probably afford to spend a lot of money?

But idk that is a lot!

That is what I was figuring too... but at the same time I do think it's just too high and it grows with each time you purchase more which is the part hurting me.

If it had maxed out at like $50K each 5 spots and didn't increase after that, that would still cost a lot but it wouldn't completely wipe out my account like the current price will.

I have plenty of money to feed, treat, show 1000 horses, but I don't have the money to buy enough spots for them. It doesn't really make sense to charge so much for such a small number of spots. Everything else in the game is so reasonably priced, this is the only area that frustrates me lol.

I kinda agree that it is a bit expensive to add only 5 more slots. However, i don’t really mind it too much.
Even though i have a lot of horses, most are locked because i usually work with 1 specialty at a time.
This helps keep me from getting overwelmed and allows me to find horses to finish breeding pairs.
Once all my horses are aged to 15 years old, or a little older if their mate is older, i will work with them all at the same time.

I understand some players keep divisions locked and alternate their training, but I really like to train all of mine regularly.

Also, keeping divisions locked doesn't subtract from the max allowed.

I do despise the higher costs.
