Back! With some questions...

Hey guys! It's been a couple years, but I'm back! I haven't played the new version, and it seems there are a few changes that I don't quite have down yet. Can someone explain the foal training to me? Do the selections influence stat gain or any other factors? I don't have any horses that can show/train yet, but it appears that training also has advantages. With a slew of foundation ponies, would it be better to spend time training rather than showing? Not sure how successful they will be.

From what I understand the foal training does have a factor when it comes to stat gain for when they turn 3 and you choose their specialty. I just select a new one each day, I go in order. The only exception is at age 1 there are 7 days but only 6 training options so when they have 7 and 6 days until they age I stick with lunging and move to the next option when they age in 5 days. 

As for Arena training, you can do that daily with horses as well as shows. Arena training does play into showing as well, levels go from 1-5, and as you might guess level 5 is where you want to get to!
