Amazon vs Chewy

Hi All! I'm planning on adopting a dog during the summer and I can't make up my mind about where to buy dog products from. I already have and use an Amazon account. Is there a difference in quality?

What type of dog products are you thinking of buying online? 

I like chewy for our dog and cat food and litter because we have it set up for autoship, it's nice not to have to haul it from the store to the car then into the house. Also we don't have to remember when we are low or make secondary trips to the store if we forget.  Quality kind of just depends on what you buy, you can get both bad and good products from both sites I am sure depending on the brands you are buying. 

I love chewy. I don't know if you have an amazon prime account, but with chewy you can get free 1-2 day shipping if you spend a minimum, which is awesome if you do not want to get a prime account.

Chewy also has really good prices and sometimes you get really good coupons.

I have never ordered pet stuff from amazon but I can imagine the prices are just as good, and theres a huge variety.

In my honest opinion go with Chewy. Amazon doesn't seem to have a good enough turn around on their product and we have received bad food from them several times. Twice the food we got from them made our dogs sick and it was the same food we had been feeding for a while. The same happened with my ferret as well.

As a former employee of one of these, I'd go with Chewy. Good luck with the new pup! 

I get my cat food/litter auto shipped from Amazon.
That being said, when I gathered supplies for my new Cavalier, I ordered from Chewy. I liked their selection of products better, and thought the cost was quite comparable.
