So what have I been up to?

Hello, all!  How is everyone?

My life's been a roller coaster this past semester, but I've finally finished sorting, tacking, and setting up my herd so it's all organized and ready for anything.  All that's left is finishing upgrades on tack (everything is at level 3, at least), and the herd is now 100% genetic tested now, WOOHOO!!!

So what have I been up to?

Well, let's start with the sad stuff.  My grandma died from pulmonary fibrosis a few months ago (way too soon, since she was only diagnosed in August), my poor rabbits were attacked and I lost or had to put down several due to severe injuries (I really wish I could have caught the neighborhood kids who were torturing them), and I managed to get a concussion over Thanksgiving break, which made finals really fun...

...that's enough time on the bad stuff.  I've also had a couple other things I've been doing, including revamping my real life rabbit herd to focus more on Satin Angora rabbits, including the rare blue-eyed white variety, so I can start a fiber business. However, probably the coolest thing I've done this semester (besides learning Arabic) is joined the equestrian team! Yep, that's right, I'm riding REAL horses now!  Hunt jump seat, to be exact...I've not been able to make any shows, but I'm actually learning something new, so if I'm a little scarce, well, you know why...

I'm not sure how much I will be on, but hopefully more than lately.  I have a move in the works (fingers crossed for things to work out), and I am taking heavy credit hours which include working on my honors thesis on universal translators and taking classes in two different foreign languages at one time (Spanish linguistics and a second Arabic class), so while the semester will be fun, it's also going to be incredibly busy.  Still, it's good to be back and organized!
