Falling Leaves Event Question

So just a quick question - does anybody know if there is going to be an event shop for the falling leaves event this year? 

Only I don't want to just convert all my leaves to cash only for a store to pop up with items I might want to buy! So was wondering if anyone knew any more about the event than what was in the news post a few weeks ago.

The news post says: "we hope to have an event shop available in the future," which sounds like a negative on an event shop this year to me?

I think the news post meant that possibly next year their would be an event shop :) 

Thanks guys I wasnt sure quite what "in the future" meant! The future being the following week after the original News post or the future next year??!! But thanks for clearing up the confusion. I shall keep my little leaf stash for next year. I'd rather have event items which are more fun than money :)

I am not sure if it will be ready next year. We have fallen leaves event for 1-3 years now. In the future can be next year or 3 years later. You just have to decide if you want to risk it and convert or not.
