Older EVers!!!!

What I love most about EV is the community of players - it's so diverse and, in general, everyone is willing to help everyone out! I love it! 

My best piece of advice is ask questions - no matter if they seem silly to you or not - after you look on the Q&A section, if you can't find it, ask! If you ever find an older player and you're unsure as to whether or not they'll talk to you - more often than not, we love helping new(er) players out, no matter what!

Work on saving money as soon as you start!

Yes, Zest! So much yes! Definitely save as much money as you can! I can 100% vouch for this as I didn't save a ton, even to begin with, and I regret it, now, when other EVers that have been here as long as me or longer have $58million *cough* Feather *cough* ;) and I only have $3mill. lol

LOL I honestly don't remember, Feather! It's been soooo long. lol 

Only because I have had 4+ name changes and sold over 200 credits in the past year for 75k at the most! 😉

Um, it is getting harder to think what I liked the most about game...
I guess, I would say breed arts. EV have the best breed arts out of all online SIM games. They (well, except for shetlands - like I will support the cull of shetlands if that's means we can get rid of that breed art) all are very pleasant to look at. Breed arts are the major deal breaker for me. No matter how great the game is, I can't sticks with it if they have horrid breed arts lol That's the only reason why I keep playing the game despite all issues and lack of real updates (aka, not bug related updates).

The most common advice would be asking questions.

My advices would be:
1) BUDGET! Please planning out a budget or you will go broke really fast. Do your research and find out how you want to play and sort out a budget. STICKS with your budget.
2) Sticks with one or two breeds until you have enough money to expand. The most common mistake I noticed among the newbies were buying a bunch of pretty horses without thinking ahead. I know the arts are gorgeous but try to have some self-control XD since you probably will never get those money back due to poor market.
3) The Fountain, Junk Yard, and General Store's Trade In is your best friend. They are very helpful with earning extra cash.
4) DEPOSIT YOUR ALL EVD IN THE BANK AT NIGHT TIME. You want to earn the interest as much as you can. Make sure to deposit all EVD into the bank before you are done for the day so you can earns interest.
5) Remember that you can survive without Deluxe and Tweaks. Plenty of us did. Don't feel pressured to spend money on EVC as soon as you can afford it. Focus on saving up and make sure that you are earning profits every month before make big purchases. 
6) DO NOT SHOW YOUR HORSES. Only show your horses if you have 5/5 tacks and your horse have less than 80 non-spec stats. If you don't have those, then ride school your horses or you will just lose money from showing

Apparently it's been 5 years for me since August haha. But I mean, I don't really play anymore. I just log on every once in a while to see what's new.
