I am Angry!

Okay,

I have been going to this gym, for 6 years. December 31, it will close for good and becomes medical offices. The reason it is closing, because money issues and pool matinence. My mom and I will go until the bitter end and I don’t know what to do.

That gym is the best and where ever we go, it won’t be the same. I feel like I’m losing my gym family, I have made wonderful friends.

I'm sorry that sucks. Maybe some of your gym friends would be moving to a different gym that you could join as well and that might make it a little easier to transition? 

No!! That sucks. But the same thing happened to us - sort of. 

The once relaxed informal gym we went to was sold to a new owner who closed it to revamp it but when it reopened it was bigger, faceless, modern & male orientated. It suddenly was a home HQ for all these bodybuilding types. I didnt even know my hometown had bodybuilding types!!! Who I might add I am sure are doing steroids but thats another issue.

 Anyhoo all our fave instructors moved on as they stopped doing the classes we went to like yoga, zumba & dancercise etc (we went to have fun & keep fit not be hollered at by some up their own butt idiot). We have tried different places as a gym group like Olympea suggested but its just not the same so quite a few of the girls have just stopped going :( 

Well, I heard that my gym family will go to another gym, that is up the street from the gym, that is closing. 

I have mental problems, I don’t like changes and I fall apart real easy and freak out.
