Leasing Woes

I've been looking for a horse to lease at my barn since I'm not going to be able to buy a horse until next spring when I hopefully get my drivers license. I asked my trainer about leasing her wb mare Brooklyn who is a total angel and I absolutely adore her, but I took too long to give her an answer and someone else snatched her up. She's now being leased on Mondays... which is when my lessons are so I can't ride her for my lessons anymore, which I'm very sad about. I'm still trying to find a lease horse, but idk how successful I'm going to be.
